Vince Motoring School
Legal aspects in relation to safe and professional driver training
Step 1 - Check your age :
You must be at least 18 years of age to start driver training in Malta. Therefore, irrespective of what you hear around, it is illegal to do so. Also it is good to know that you if you are under 18 years of age you won't be covered by any insurance policy in the event of an accident.
Step 3 - Medical certification :
You must be certified by a medical doctor of your choice as medically fit to drive, otherwise Transport Malta will not issue your learners permit.
Step 4 - The learners permit :
Once you have the leraners permit issued by Transport Malta in hand, we can safely and legally start with your driving lessons. At Vince Motoring School we have a structured approach towards driver training, in line with European safe driving standards, which is then tailored according to your skills, level of preparation and abilty to adapt to training by our instructors.
Step 5 - The theory test :
Once you feel ready you may undertake your computer-based Theory Test. The studying material has already been provided on this web site and it should be easy for you to cover. Once you pass from the Theory Test, then we can proceed to apply for your practical driving test.
Step 6 - The practical driving test :
If you are well-prepared and we will make it sure you are, the practical driving test should be a memorable experience. At Vince Motoring School your safety is our top priority. That is why we are not like the rest. We are highly committed not to present any of our students for the test if not well-prepared. That is why our first time pass rate is highly above the national average.
Step 7 - After the driving test :
Once you pass from your driving test, you are set to go on your own. Remember this is just the beginning of your career as a driver. That means you still have to make your own driving experiences, so be really careful. However, we are confident that through our teachings each one of our students has the potential to become a safe driver for life. So, see you on the road!
